Your Path to Greater Meaning and Purpose

I’m Kyle Michael Dory, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Psychotherapist who believes that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection. Taking the step to enter therapy is an act of profound courage. Often, we reach a point where our old ways of navigating the world no longer serve us, leaving us feeling disconnected, stuck, or questioning our deeper purpose. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life's transitions or simply seeking a clearer sense of who you are, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I believe that true healing begins in a space where you can show up exactly as you are. My practice is grounded in a warm, collaborative, and deeply humanistic approach. I don't look at you as a set of symptoms to be fixed, but as a whole person navigating a complex human experience. Together, we will create a secure, genuine container to explore your unique challenges, honor your personal truths, and discover the path toward a more authentic and vital life.

Whether you are looking to heal old wounds, ground yourself in the present, or move toward meaningful growth, I am here to walk alongside you with curiosity, deep presence, and unwavering support.

A Bit More About Me:

My professional development has included training through the Existential-Humanistic Institute, Compassionate Inquiry, and I received my diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). I received my Master's in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, and I am also completing my Doctor of Psychology degree, with doctoral research focused on therapist authenticity, presence, and the intentional use of the therapist’s self in psychotherapy. This work reflects what has always drawn me to this field: an interest in what happens when therapists move beyond simply applying techniques and learn to meet clients with greater depth, openness, and humanity.

Outside my professional work, my natural curiosity keeps me deeply engaged in reading philosophy and psychology, subjects I love exploring just as much in my free time as in the therapy room. I also have a quiet appreciation for the latest technology and the ways it connects us. At my core, I value honesty, depth, humor, and real conversation, qualities that also shape the way I show up as a therapist.
